Re: Brexit benefit

As some wag on twitter put it "Wait, til they figure out what a gallon of petrol now costs".
Of all the pathetic waste of time and resources, this has to be one of the best.

I’m booking travel to the UK from St John’s next week for later in September (now Canada is on the UK green list). In the absence of the direct yyt-lhr flight (put on hold by the 737max grounding,...

Re: Vaccine for travel purpose?

That's specifically not available here - CMOH was asked about it in the weekly covid q&a this week and said it wasn't being considered, and is morally a bit questionable. Better for us all if those...

Re: Vaccine for travel purpose?

Right. But the problem is coming from an Amber country (Canada) and having to quarantine for 10 days. Rules have changed to permit vaxed travellers from US and EU to skip quarantine even if they are...

Re: Vaccine for travel purpose?

Re: Vaccine for travel purpose?

I have been hoping Canada might move to Green on the next update this enabling me to to travel next month for my mums 80th. The vaccine mixing restriction would make that in feasible.
