We just opened up a savings account with Citibank in the UK. Its online and they have about 10 or so different currencies you can put your money in to once you have the UK account up and running....

thanks for taking the time to reply - OH does not really do the typical building surveyor work. He is a Chartered RISC building surveyor but works mainly as a client side property...

what what you do?
put 10 years down as it will be 10 years by the time the applicatiuon is processed or apply with 5 less points and put 8 years down. The difference in points will be 120 or 125...
