You missed the bit in the small print where the feed-in tariff for solar power generated between midnight and 5:00 am is 50 cents per kWh.

So it's still viable if you manage your consumption...

Those both look like ball valves and, if installed correctly, the handle at right angles to the pipe would normally indicate the valve is closed. But I think it's possible to put the handle on...
