Gift for someone in the UK

Hi I'd like to send a Canadian gift to my colleague and friend in the UK who really helped me out when my health wasn't so good in the summer.
Has anyone got any suggestions as to what I could send...

One of my daughters went to Montroyal for a couple of years. I live quite near Upper Lonsdale now (Delbrook) but we used to live near Grouse Mountain. Both daughters went to a very good high school...

I would take a different approach. I would apply online at this time at the same time as the main appllicant. In my opinion, that may make it easier to obtain authorization to travel. In some cases...

If you're arriving from the UK then yes the family needs permission to travel. You can ask for permission to travel together (there is provision for that) but you might not necessarily get it.

You must name her as a dependent if she's under 22 whether accompanying or non accompanying. She will have to be examined for medical & criminal record either way.

I've read that the most effective treatment for insomnia is CBT-I. There's a practitioner in Vancouver who I've talked to but not booked any sessions with I think it's all done remotely.

Well when the insomnia got worse I developed acidity which has been on and off. It happened simultaneously.

I also seem to get hungry during the nights I cannot sleep.

I'm reading all the responses and am very grateful for all of them: at least I'm not alone although I'm sorry others are suffering too.
