Yes... re the MP that's what I thought... do you know of any way I can find out how long they are taking for a ILR visa? we did the 'email lottery' of Premium upgrade and it was just getting us down...

Thanks for the replies. Yes, we applied by recorded mail and checked it arrived. No letter in response but we did get the biometric letter fairly quickly. Does involving my MP really help?

I agree re NFU, they took my Canadian NCB and were very nice and helpful (especially when an idiot ran into the back of me). We also get 10% off with a second car.

We applied after July 9th but all the Visa forms we filled out seen to be wrong. We sent 3 months bank statement (as asked for) and were then asked for 6 months...
