I had a relocation agent as part of my expat move during my week "recce" visit. He was very helpful in finding me somewhere to live, getting me a bank account, SSN, etc. It didn't cost me anything...

Yeah the embassy is stating anywhere between 3 and 5 days. I'm flying in on a Sunday, interview is Monday and then i'm staying at my parents until the following saturday when my return flight is...

I reached out to the company immigration lawyers and they confirmed that we could have gone this route, however they would have needed to file an individual petition...

I put a grand on a "secured" credit card with Well Fargo when i arrived in March 2015. By November they had given me back my money and switched it to a normal credit card with a higher limit.

My firm has a facility in North Kingstown RI and I was encouraged to go and see "the castles" in Newport.

Needless to say I laughed out loud at what American's consider a castle here....
