Re: Looking for a nice wee school in Scotland

Dunblane is very popular for people looking to commute to both Edinburgh and Glasgow and it's easy to jump in the car and head north into the highlands. Schools are very good too.

Re: Criminal Record from UK for US visa

If you go the H-1B route you won't be able to work at all unless your wife is subsequently approved for a green card. Ordinary spouses of H-1B holders don't qualify for work authorization.

If you...

Re: Global Entry and L1 Visa - wrong i94

If I remember correctly the PED overrides the I94 so even if your i94 said one thing if the underlying status has expired your i94 is irrelavent.

I supposed it's the same as if you'd been admitted...

Re: Impact of withdrawing L-1B EOS petition

Yep, I know it can be done via an EOS. I covered that in the original post.

I was asking for any perspectives as to whether withdrawing that petition would have any negative effects if I elected...

Re: Impact of withdrawing L-1B EOS petition

I'm not sure what you mean. I'm not pre-supposing that I won't qualify for L-1B visa issuance.

Re: Moving to USA from UK

You can't apply for an H-1B.

Your prospective employer applies for the H-1B on your behalf.
