You are kidding right ? I know what it takes to get here, we went through it all ourselves !! If it only cost time that's no problem but to have to pay a guy the going wage (which he already does)...

I did have a quick look at that post but was after a definitive answer.

Thought as much it would be contractural. You can get contracts in this industry but it's on the union sites and not a lot...

No idea about the rest of the school but my daughter is in year 8 and doesn't seem pushed at all, whether this changes as she goes higher up the school I don't know but at the minute she's not doing...

We've been in Halls Head now for nearly three years. Have two kids, youngest 11 attends Halls Head Primary and eldest 13 attends Frederick Irwin High School.

OH has a labourer and a trainee and completes houses in 2 to 3 weeks so it does depend if he's on his own or not as to the timescales.

Actually the licence thing varies from state to state, in WA theres no licence, just a blue card and ABN needed.

Just to warn you, JM also did a great job packing up our stuff when we moved and also helped out a lot by 'losing' some boxes on the way. Too much stuff didn't find it's way to Oz yet every box...

I don't think the prices are too bad. My eldest goes to Frederick Irwins which is supposed to be more expensive and we pay $400 a month with books, stationary and uniform on top.

am suprised at some of the comments on Pinjarra. Pinjarra has had a new shopping centre open this year and there are loads of new builds in and around Pinjarra. Some areas are the bigger acerage...

we were supposed to be putting a pool in over winter - didn't quite happen that way though :mad:

I'm hoping it's a bit like childbirth and all the pain we went through starts to fade with time
