I came over on an L1 last summer and have recently applied for a GC, the submission went in at the end of March, I've been told to expect a minimum of 4 months and possibly up to a year to get the GC...

I'd also recommend AIG / Travelguard.

The website is poor as is some of their documentation, but they are extremely helpful over the phone and have saved me significant $$$ on several things.

Well......it's finally here, the shippers are arriving in the morning and packing up our worldly possessions.

We don't fly to LA until July 3rd, but the stuff leaves on Thursday and will hopefully...
