Ok so I think I worked this out correctly.

P has 26 years
D has 28 years
Topping up P to full 35 years would make a difference of 42 per week = 2184 per year

Hoping it comes back as Class 2 as according to the website it would cost 795 per year to top up each of my 12 year shortfall. If that's the case I don't really have $16,000 to throw at something...

Unnecessary reporting is ok ( we did it on a property we thought we had a share in but actually turned out it was just inheritance ), our accountant said no detrimental...

Agree with Atlantic X. Our trip was cancelled this year and we hadn't done it for a few years. Parents getting on ( 80's ) and every year feels like the "last".

Where does it say how much it will cost you to get the full amount of years required for full pension. I find the whole thing very confusing.

I haven't bothered topping up the UK. Wife has 2 year short of max and myself 10 years short. Who's to say it will even be there in 10 years when I'm eligible or whether the goal posts have been...

I know JonboyE was one out in BC but he hasn't been on here since 2017. I had spoken to him in the past and was very helpful.
