Had my ceremony yesterday, officially a citizen now. Quite the journey, just over 10 years since I entered on my first IEC.

We included a letter from friends of both and a letter from each side parents, just explaining their understanding of our relationship etc

Application shows updated today but citizenship oath still shows not started and no other visible changes in the application history, so hoping I’ll be seeing some movement shortly on the citizenship...

Doubt they’ll get it enforced in QC. But in the meantime the thought of an extra tax will probably have enough impact to push over the line the “I’m not an antivaxer, just hesitant” people.

yeah it’ll take you a while. I submitted September 2020 but didn’t get anything until Feb, and even then I had to follow up because the old system showed the AOR had been sent but I never got...
