With regards to the legally separated comment above, my comment was based on the application form for Citizenship. There is a tick box on there for 'Legally Separated' and I was advised to tick this...

You also have to be legally separated for 12 months before you can divorce, however, there is nothing stopping you getting all the documents completed prior to this date so they can be filed on the...

I recently went through the same the same as you and it didn't affect my PR status. In fact I am just about to sit my Citizenship test.

Expiring PR Card

My existing PR Card is due to expire in February. I have applied for a renewal, but it looks like I won't get it before I leave for a trip to the UK in April.

UK Pension Transfer to Canada

Hi, has anyone transferred their UK pension to Canada. I know the institution in Canada has to be on the QROPS list, but i have called both TD and Scotiabank without much success.

My parents are due to visit in August and in the UK my dad has a blue badge for parking. Does anyone know if you could use this in Ontario?
