Re: Childs routine jabs and routine adult health checks

Our surgery doesn't bulk bill.

Except they do, if: you're on a GP management plan (such as for a chronic condition); you're in to talk about results they've got back; you're back because they...

Re: What has p*ssed you off today...part II

We used to love taking the kids to the local pitch and putt in the UK - this gave middlechild the idea that he could play golf.
It isn't the same, sweetie, it really isn't.

At high school here...

Re: Childs routine jabs and routine adult health checks

Hey Brits, perhaps your practice advertised as bulk billed, but only offered that for concessions, children, seniors and those on GP management plans, as what you describe above is not bulk billing...

Re: What has p*ssed you off today...part II

The level of oxalates in spinach does mean that most of the calcium in spinach isn't bio-available - but there's no evidence (at least not in a quick review of my uni's library) that it's a calcium...

Re: Interesting Live Streaming Web Cams Around The World

I find this one very calming - although I can't have it on when Mr Dreamy is here as all he can say is "I've sailed on there, you know". (the first week in a new job they went sailing on a big...

Re: What Airlines accept Cabin Crew to cover up tattoos?

I feel kind of left out on the tattoo front as I am tattooless. Although I think I should get one to indicate my untrustworthy feckless nature.

Re: Defaulting on Car Loan and returning to the UK - implications

Are you just looking for someone to say, "no, it's ok, tell 'em to abandon and not worry about it"?
If so, it's generally best to say that at the start of the thread to save people from wasting...

Re: What has p*ssed you off today...part II
