We were still shackled to the sclerotic EU as recently as 4 and a half months ago and paying for the privilege.

What inequality of distribution?

As far as I'm aware, distribution of doses to countries is coordinated so that each country receives the same number in proportion to size of population.

The angle I was coming from is somewhat different to that.

The dominant narrative on here and elsewhere seems to have been that the EU messed up badly, chiefly because it took too long negotiating...
