Can an individual on an O1A work under contract for an LLC that he or she has shares in? As far as i can see, a person cannot legally be employed by an LLC that they have a share...

Hi,

Can my other half whilst on an O3 dependent VISA apply for an ITIN so that we could file a joint tax return? Obviously, holders of an O3 are not permitted to work.

Okay, thanks all. Looking back through the notes given by my previous attorney, he had indicated that i had a window of 6 months to kick the VISA in from date of issuance, but in fairness, he wasn't...

Thanks Boiler, it's not so much the processing times i'm trying to find, it the maximum amount of time i will have to enter the US on the O1 after it has been approved.
