As in all these things the devil or in this case angel is in the details. Tax law is not for the casual , all I can say is I know it is avoided in spades here.

Well yes, but it’s true, and they are all still alive so far as we can tell. Those in care homes were pretty much locked up and there were court cases about it, but it’s thankfully over.
