Especially moving was a section...

Re: best bargain ever !!!

Sorry - I'm another "sucker" who always points out a mistake at the cash register - whether it's in my favour or not.

Most of the time I shop with my kids and just could not look them in the face...

You're right - my experience is with the Separate system.

I do know that in the Separate System there's lots of maternity leaves! ;)

One way to get in is to start by subbing (substitute...

Re: Primary school teaching in alberta

I became a teacher just when the Klein Government was hatcheting education in the early 90's. There's always jobs.

In May they talk about cutbacks. In June and July people start to put in their...

Re: University for Canadian born kids

Good discussion! Better than a wiki answer ;)

When I went to Uni in London many many moons ago there was no time to have a part time job.

So that may help if...

Re: University for Canadian born kids

It's explained there - I've already read the wiki - but not discussed.

For instance the wiki states the 3 years residence requirement, however, it does not state whether that's "any" 3 years, or 3...

I disappeared into a cultural wasteland in the interior of BC, surrounded by plaid shirts, mullets and stubby "no-name" beers.

No footy for 10 years - I missed...

Yes this person is a scumbag, and deserves more than a slap on the wrist. But does that mean all realtors are scumbags?

Not sure I follow your argument.
