Firstly it's not fraud and unless the OP admits it or the CC company can prove otherwise then it won't be treated as such.

Very much so, they specialise in statute barred debts (i.e debts that have timed out) Make sure you fill in your details and acc no. into the template and I gaurantee you won't hear another thing...

How many jobs do you think require credit checks?

I would question the employers morals over that of the employee if he found out credit information without prior approval. I'd even suggest it...

Quite correct, theres 100's of examples not just the christmas issue. Big wigs at Natwest and Halifax I remember a few years ago decided to ban advertising of piggy banks so as not to upset muslims....

Surely very hard to prove if travelling back to the UK, especially if you choose to oversee any maintainance work whilst there? ;)
