Re: Family of five looking at moving to Aus

Townsville? As far as I know this isn't a 'low crime rate' choice. It's ghetto AF according to a lot of people that live there, with big problems with youth crime, car theft and other social...

Re: Hervey Bay good or bad

Not sure what the kids will think. Hervey Bay is a retirement town with median age way in excess of the Qld average. I think the area suffers from consistently high unemployment and some social...

Re: 2020 Election

Just curious...why is AZ different? Why are the late counted ballots consistently favouring Trump? I don't think we've seen that trend anywhere else?

Re: Flying back to UK

There's no ambiguity about it and the rules are very clear that transit locations matter when it comes to the self quarantine requirement.

I like Gladys. The problem for her is she doesn't come from the foaming at the mouth end of the spectrum that is the 'broad church' that is the Liberal party. So the Murdochracy will always be out to...

Re: Melbourne Metro restrictions

New Zealand does not have a travel ban for citizens or PRs. It just has a do not travel advisory like many others.

It has quarantine on arrival, but that's not what the troubadour was referring to.

Re: Compassionate Leave COVID

There's really not a lot they can do. I think each week they have discussions with the Australian government and get told the exact number they can carry. If you are bumped off, basically they won't...

Re: Compassionate Leave COVID

The caps won't be reduced. Even with the proposed increase it will still not be enough to meet demand.

Would have to be Singapore Airlines...looks like they're doing MEL-LHR 2 days a week. I've...

Re: Compassionate Leave COVID

Eg...you could do Cathay MEL-HKG-LHR on Wednesday...$1600 one way. Short connection in HKG. No self isolation requirement.

Re: Compassionate Leave COVID

Sorry to read about the situation...that's a whole lot to deal with.

Firstly though, there's no need for you to leave from Perth. You don't need to leave from Perth to fly back there. Just book...
