Re: Move to Canada

Easiest way to get over for 2 years is by applying for the IEC work permit and then see what happens after as it will be able to open up other routes or you find that Canada isn't for you.

Re: The 2019-2020 Football Thread

Re: The 2019-2020 Football Thread

Well they have been talking about getting a Director Of Football for quite some time now. From all accounts Ed knows how to sweet talk sponsors but his transfer ability has been severely questioned...

Re: The 2019-2020 Football Thread

I can't blame a club who are approached to sell a player asking for a fair amount of money but some clubs are taking the piss. One club agrees to sell us a 21 yr old winger for 15 million plus an...

Re: The 2019-2020 Football Thread

As a Yernited fan I don't consider it as a transfer window its more like a ransom demand if you are Yernited looking to sign players. Yes admittedly we have paid over the odds for several players who...

Re: Who's up for a hug? £65 please.

I have offered to give free hugs to several ladies I work with. No money involved but several trips to the Managers office and some discussion about inappropriate behaviour/harassment etc etc.

Re: Landing experience - Toronto, May 2019

Re: The 2018-2019 Football Thread

Re: The 2018-2019 Football Thread

Mini/crazy golf or a par 3 course is not considered a hole in one but congratulations anyway. I am also guessing like your football club you rented the clubs rather than buying your own.

Re: Federal PR + rental in Quebec?

If under the FSW then it will be a problem with no CSQ issued by Quebec. Who is your employer and where are they located? Where will you actually be working? There are allowances for people to live...

Re: Applying for visa 6-12 months after visa denial - anyone had any success?

IMHO an ESTA is just an electronic authorization to travel to the USA it doesn't guarantee you entry. Applying for a visa is a different process. You can have a valid ESTA but be denied a visa.

Re: Landing experience - Toronto, May 2019

If travelling on a student visa that indicates you are coming to study and not becoming permanent residents so you aren't issued COPR forms (Confirmation Of Permanent Residence).

Re: The 2018-2019 Football Thread

Sorry my memory didn't even register that one admittedly like a few others and the ones in 2009 and 2011 that I prefer not to remember. Never knew Bayer Leverkusen had also made it to a final.
