Complications in exporting a car to Australia

I am thinking of exporting my car over when we relocate as i am not getting a fair deal on the car in the UK, WHAT ARE THE IMPLICATIONS IN SHIPPING OVER A CAR ? and will it be worth the hassle.

My child will be 14 when we arrive, yes we will need school fees, the $55-$60000 was to see me over the first 12 months whilst i am looking for work.Should have the school fees and rent...

Thanks for the info, i found a new site near Flinders where i will rent for a while untill 100%, only just returned after 4 weeks on the SC so in the process of selling and watching the exchange...
