Thanks John, they are transferable from the UK to Aus but only to funds that don't allow them to be released before the age of 60 (I found out today). Seems to be hugely complicated with the Tax...

We moved from the UK to Townsville back in 2005 and have since moved down to the Gold Coast for work. Absolutely 100% settled and loving the Aussie lifestyle.

They are both very diffierent places in the same part of the world. My advice would be to visit and get a feel of them. They are 4hrs away in the car and it's a nice drive.

The SSTs in the northern Coral Sea are plenty high enough. The high to the south (on that model anyway) is typical of an emerging autumn pattern and could well save the day due to the wind shear it...
