That's very interesting! Do you suggest using a migration agent for the RRV or is there nothing else they can add to assist with the process?

Re: Taking daughter out of grammar school?

Re: Secondary schooling options. Last minute?

Can you elaborate on "local school"?

If I use the web site you enter and enter Horsnby, nsw. The only listed secondary is Hornsby Girls School. That school is academically selective, and from...

Secondary schooling options. Last minute?

We had resigned ourselves to not going to Aus, as a result of not having a job lined up. Well, to cut a long story short it looks like that has all changed at the 11th hour. Only 5 weeks left on...

Re: Taking daughter out of grammar school?

I agree, and think it is a modern day issue. When I was a kid we just went to the local comp. There was none of this league table nonsense and worrying about it. It was a great example of how the...

Re: Taking daughter out of grammar school?

Leaving your Daughter behind is a big decision to make. She is only 13, and deep down a kid at heart. I don't think I would want that to happen, and we don't have anyone / family to leave her...

Re: Sad to say. We never did make it to Aus!

Driving 5500km from Perth up to Exmouth and then all the way down to Esperance. Cracking trip!

Re: IELTS. Why is UK BSc not taken into account?

Fair point.

Totally agree, but there lies the problem. Sometimes, I wish I never applied for the damn visa. Has made things very complicated. Anyhow, that's a different issue :-(
