When we first began looking 3 yrs ago, we debated between AB and BC.

AB won, as hub had better job prospects here, his work connected to the oil and gas industry, cost of living and house prices...

I contacted NI and they told me there would be no issues with health care or child benefit. Just re-register with a doctors practice and sign up for the child benefit and away you go.

Alberta (and Canada in general) is so vast, that you become very reliant on what your locality has to offer.

Those offerings may be good, and will sustain your interest for a 2/3 yr "holiday"...

The shipping company need a copy of our passports to clear customs on our behalf, but I was just concerned as to wether they needed a certain amount of validity before the passport is due to expire?...

Anyone know wether UK customs need a certain amount of months of passport validity for a container to pass through ? Is just a current passport sufficient?
