Yes we went to our consulate in Paris and were approved for an immigrant visa category eb3 unskilled, then we got our GC few weeks after our entry in the US. It took 19 months.
You have to pay a fee...

An employer has to pay only for the labor certification cost, usually its not for few positions its for 50 or hundreds of positions on several locations. There is a shortage of people willing to work...

My wife was the main applicant, we both have green cards, my wife still work for her sponsor as a janitor, but she is now looking for something else.

No she was a agent from immigration services, The program is called "initiative strategique" it's available for manitoba and new brunswick for the francophone, it's actually not available online.

Since it was 6 months we've been denied visas, We tried esta again. My wife was on status pending and then approved. I was denied right away.

I do have skills but it's already available in the US (same for my wife)

Which company would be willing to wait 6-10 years (from what I've been reading) and pay thousands of dollars fees, to hire foreign...

I'm considering an application for an immigration program in NB, Canada.

I still want to re-apply for a B1 and then an E2, but does applying for Canada would hurt my case for future US visas...

I'm not sure to understand what Ian said.

The OP said he invested money into a franchise, paid a lease for one year upfront, buy equipements and a vehicle etc..

I did read alot about 214b and 221g.
I know I was refused because i don't have strong ties in my home country, but what does that means ? Since consular officers asked only few questions at the...

Yes we were eligible , but we wanted to stay for 6 months. I was not aware of the consequence of a denial. Biggest mistake of my life, We've been working and saving hard since 2013 for this project. ...

I applied for a B1/B2 visa & my wife for a B2 visa at the US embassy
in Paris twice. Both of our applications got refused twice. We applied together...
