Re: Health Insurance during waiting period

Bear in mind when applying for OHIP immediately in Ontario (which you can do), you have to have proof of address when you attend the Service centre. This can be a utility bill, a tenancy agreement...

Re: What we driving in canada ? Any good deals (post covid)

I had the Murando for 3 weeks when I first arrived in Canada. I only got to drive it from the airport to our house, and for the final week.

It was an amazing car and made the shortlist of cars I...

Re: What we driving in canada ? Any good deals (post covid)

It's a disgrace how expensive it is. I have a a couple of questions.

It seems that the majority Canadian insurance companies don't care about your driving experience in the UK, except when it...

Re: What we driving in canada ? Any good deals (post covid)

May I ask how much you pay on insurance and what company you went with? I am going to go with Johnson's, but they are charging me $4,300 even with 10 years NCD!

Re: Quarantine for COVID 19 discussions.

Don't mistake my support of the quarantine with being in favour of it. I didn't like being in quarantine, and would rather have not done it. Having a two-year-old son made it worse. But, we prepared...

Re: Our Journey to Toronto (during COVID)

That seems to be the case. We are looking at properties tomorrow in the Whitby and Oshawa area. They were cheaper pre Covid, but have increased since then for some reason.

I found the same issue...

Re: Quarantine for COVID 19 discussions.

I had a work colleague get a negative result, had a second test and it was positive. Third test was negative. Had a fourth and final test.

Positive.

Re: Quarantine for COVID 19 discussions.

Until they come up with a 90% + proof test, this is the reality and the reason Canada won't accept the tests.

Tests are currently 70% accurate? That's not good enough to just let someone loose in...

Re: Our Journey to Toronto (during COVID)

Had you applied for a travel exemption, printed your exemption confirmation letter issued by the IRCC, and shown it to the airline?

If not,

When i said it would be closed, I implied that if the borders here remain closed for the US, they will remain closed for the whole world.

Trump would NOT be happy if we...

Its not any less valid. everyone is entitled to their opinion. We may disagree, but it must be respected.

What I take exception to is the notion that because you disagree with a law, you can break...

Re: Quarantine for COVID 19 discussions.

You're doing it again. You're creating unverified accusations against a government without any data that supports your thesis. Where is there any evidence that the Canadian government has 'seemingly...
