Re: Final decision

Re: Car Insurance for the first time in Ontario

I have had my car with them for 10 years. I have had house insurance for 6. I always check both every year and they have never once come close to the best deal on my house insurance.

Always waste...

Re: Car Insurance for the first time in Ontario

I have been with them for 10 years. I had to claim once when someone rear ended me. They dealt with everything very well. Organised repairs and replacement vehicle straight away. Very good customer...

Re: Rant-car dealerships

1. It is part of the conditioning process. They are trying to get you into the mindset that you need them more than they need you by using the fear of missing out. The most powerful weapon that they...

Re: Canada Post

Royal Mail have a long list of oopsies in my experience. The latest was sending a shirt that I ordered from the UK to China.

China post helpfully sent it onwards to Canada where it...

Re: US Election 2020 - Predictions

Sorry I forgot unless one is wealthy enough to benefit from the tax cuts he has doled out to the poor rich people that really need them. I honestly can't think of any other reasons why anyone would...

Re: US Election 2020 - Predictions

I will be surprised if it takes that long to establish if there is a case or not.

I think that if this has any real impact on the election it will be that those who vote republican but don't care...

Re: US Election 2020 - Predictions

I said Dodgy Donald not dodgy tax returns 😉 The charge sheet is as long as your arm on that front.

As far as the Democratic party having no policy platform I will be diplomatic and say that's not...

I think that the first debate might go a bit differently after the news about dodgy Donald's tax returns.

Re: US Election 2020 - Predictions

I think that it won't be nearly as exciting as it is being set up to be. I think that Biden will win comfortably on the night by enough of the popular and electoral college vote that Dumbald Chump...

Re: What we driving in canada ? Any good deals (post covid)

When I lived in Moncton my insurance was 950 a year on a 2014 VW passat. Moved to Windsor and it went up to 1280.

Johnson was always much cheaper than the others as they were the only ones that...

Jeezy Creezy 😲😲😲 4 grand!! 😲😲😲 we are with Johnson, just had our renewal and it went up from 1280 to 1580. I went ballistic at that. Phoned everyone and his dog but nearest I could get to it was...

Re: Sleep

I find this fascinating. I am at the opposite end of the spectrum. I am asleep a minute after my head hits the pillow. I will sleep until 10 minutes before my alarm goes off unless I am woken. Every...

Re: What we driving in canada ? Any good deals (post covid)

We have a 2019 Honda CRV... It is a beige cardigan on wheels, it goes well with my beige bungalow in the suburbs. It has a big boot and the Mrs likes it so there is that.... How did I get here? 😢

Re: driving licence swap gb to ab to OT

If you...

Re: Life in the East

I have been to Hynes plenty of times. I wouldn't rave about it but what I will say is that it does exactly what it says on the tin. I only went for Breakfast after a heavy night on the ale. Full fry...

Re: Cost of Living - Ontario

It is only required in Ontario after a change of ownership. You could buy a car new, keep it until it falls to bits and never need a safety inspection. I don't doubt for a second that I am in tiny...
