My experience is all these poxy STBs, etc are useless and a waste of money. Get yourself a decent mini/nettop PC, wireless mouse and keyboard and hook them up to your telly. That way you can stream...

If you're planning to buy a new telly, I'd definitely recommend you buy it in Australia. Prices compare quite favourably against UK prices here and you'll have all the warranties, etc :thumbup:

All these other gadgets and dongles seem like a good idea and they might be cheap ways of streaming video to the spare TV but on a heavier usage one a wider range of viewing options is needed.

We found the Roku to be more hassle than it's worth. And NowTV keeps lagging so we don't bother with that now either.
