The EU got exactly what they wanted and then some. They lost sight of the objective however.

The big winners are Greece, by borrowing more money at low rates from people who should know better...

Looks like the Greeks caved on pensions and sales taxes, very similar proposal to that put forwards by the by creditors and rejected in the referendum.

Can't imagine there is any reason for the EU to rush a deal at this point. Can't see the ECB wanting to resume their intervention either, the debt for cash program was nearly over anyway so it seems...

FT quoted an inside source saying Greek unsecured depositors with over 8k would become involuntary retail bank bondholders with 30% of their funds in a similar arrangement to Cyprus without ECB...

Even if they don't make the payment on the 9th they have another 30 days before they go into default.

However it seems likely to me Greece will meet it's IMF obligations on the 9th as the amount...
