You should have no problems with Immigration with Implied status. Just in case take some paperwork with you like your case number letter etc. It will be on file anyway but...

Its getting on for five months for me and heard nothing from CIC. Am back on tourist VISA here in Canada. No problems getting that which was good. My old work is trying to get me an LMO as they are...

I was in Guyana (South America) for close to 5 months in 1998-9 however this was not more than 6 months so I did not need a police certificate. If they still do checks there then I guess it could...

I had the medical in September before the case was sent in Edmonton with a CIC approved Doc. She gave me a photocopy of the front of this which I included with the PR application.

Think you are well ahead of me, no mention of meds here and London have been processing mine since Dec 16 so will be three months on the 16th March.

I guess someone has to balance the timescales...

It only says "decision made" for the sponsorship...

Its been close to three months they have had the application for in London now (since December 16th) so I am hoping that I will get lucky and not too much longer.

Not yet mate, its still "in process" It was Stew's application that went through in 8 weeks he was a couple of weeks ahead in the queue. So fingers crossed I will find out soon!

London said they started processing on the 16th of December and its currently showing as "In Progress" which I guess is the default.

Best thing with trains is to book at set time ahead of time and that cuts costs in half. I used to have to do a commute between Coventry and Milton Keynes for three years!!!! So yeah trains suck ;)

Letter arrived from CIC to say that sponsorship approved... the easy bit. Forms were completed according to requirements and have been forwarded to London.
