dont think there is one for public consumption:lol:

you get the rate when you go into global view on log in to your accounts and there you get the real time rate but as previously said the rate...

do check hsbc as when we bought our canadian home we shopped around for such a large amount to be sure and hsbc were still a better rate not only that being able to do everything from your onw pc at...

in didnt have an account for 6 months and was able to open accounts in both uk and canada before coming to canda

with hsbc you get realtime rates and real time tranfers
so it the rate changes...

rates for instant transfer in real time are excellent with hsbc we get only point something of a cent less than rate

eg it its 1.895 for example we get 1.89 with no charges

i track it several times a day and have done so for 18 months its never gone as low as 1.71:huh:

when was this??

just be sure you have the minimum landing funds safely in canada

for 2 reasons
one we had some cash in icesave bank now we did get it back but it took a couple of months

just got 2.05 with hsbc and from today the transfer is instant to canadian account you no longer have to wait 3 days:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

i dint have to go to a hsbc branch in canada to activiate anything all was up and running and i did some transfers before we came to canada

and last night got slightly over $2 with hsbc got to make hay while the sunshines

I got $1.996 overnight with HSBC

dont know if anyone else is doing the same but having a chunk currently chilling out in Iceland I am trying to reduce my risks:confused:

not good news if you are in canada and your income is from uk pounds:blink:
or if you are in the process of buying a canadian home in uk pounds etc
the exchange rate has never been so dire well not...
