I have a overseas bach aswell, and a local sydney Masters. When I saw a consultant here for potential US work - they said as long as the Masters is from Sydney, that should be fine.

Assume that you are born in AU, I think start the GC process immediately after your renewal? That gives you 2 years to the least to be able to get the petition done and dusted.

Valid points although I could argue a few but that is besides point.

You are completely right tho in terms of "having points handy" before saying statements like "visa from hell" etc....

I was told change in employer much more difficult on E-3?

How about the 6 year H1 vs E-3 2 years (renewable tho).

How about dual intent ? (Of course the debate here is E-3 to GC which I know...

Can't answer the second question although generally it's networking and a quick trip on interviews that helps.

This is just interpretation from websites.

I saw 2-3 consultants who thru their lawyer mention the 10 day rule.

But if you have confirmation from USCIS etc then I suppose they are...

All I know is from research

1. You would be out of status as soon as (well 10 days past the date I think) the E-3 visa expires. It does not matter if you have submitted ething to USCIS. It does...

Totally understand. I have been offered the same deal, but I will not go and they wont let me go to US without a contract. Infact they need to secure a contract and get thtat signed...
