Of course unlike most State... the Florida permit allows you too carry
any weapon, gun, sword, knife, pepper spray, billy club or a pencil ..

But there are differences in State laws..In Florida we now have the controversial "stand your ground law" or "Castle Doctrine" (SB 436) which removed the previous first duty to escape the threat.......

Maybe ..our sheriff has said it is up to us to protect ourelves
as best we can.
Although of course in you area you are not allowed
weapons anyway ...

No .. but I did have a clown.. crawl thru the dog hatch in the kitchen
in London, and opened the door to the room occupied by my
three german shepherds... it was not a pretty sight ....

Shotguns and rifles are not considered to be a great problem
basically they are mostly not concealable and history show
most problems are with handguns ....
