An open question to everyone....

The high taxes paid in the UK to cover things like NHS and etc. Are they worthed? (40% of my salary is taxed for poor services like the ones provided by NHS)

I currently live in the UK and have been forced to take out private insurance. I decided to do so after waiting to be seen by an ENT specialist for 10 months on NHS. During these 10...
