Can I ask was this recently? Current advice is for L visa holders not to travel while AP is pending or the application will be considered abandoned. L visa holders used to be exempt from this rule...

Yes it's a combined AP/EAD (work authorization) card. No idea if it's issued for a particular length of time, I would assume it's valid until green cards are in hand at which point it becomes...

Our PED is Sep 2019. We were originally advised by our lawyers to wait until the EB-1 was approved (they estimated 8-10 months) before submitting Adjustment of Status (not exactly sure why). But we...

Yeah our understanding is that we probably would be fine leaving the US and coming back in on our L visas but the risk of abandoning the AP application and having to start it over isn't worth it.

We've just submitted an EB1 petition and the check for filing fees has been cashed by USCIS but no receipt / case number has been issued. Our AOS is being submitted imminently. Am I right in...
