Just picked the last of my homegrown peppers today :cry_smile:, they are one of my favourite vegetables and we have a couple in stir-fries at least...

My friends are on grass too. They have a lovely lifestyle block in Wellsford.

Ay 'appen they are an' all. Brother is from the north-west, his wife is from a posh part of Bristol. :lol:

Telegraph cucumbers $1.89 in NW and $1.49 in Countdown. I did get mildly excited when I saw cucumber $1.29 in Countdown but it was for a Lebanese one :ohmy:

Yep, we have those Mill house. They are called Lebanese cucumbers in these parts and are also hideously expensive.

E bah gum! I remember t'days when we all used to discuss the difficulty of buying a decent sausage int New Zealand. How times move on, things just aren't t'same anymore :cry_smile:
