I agree its very much down to the luck of the draw of the e/a , here in ns they are very much programmed to inclusion policy, but as you say the reality of actually being in the classroom...

It does seem to depend on province and even region within a province as to the lottery of what help you are able to obtain for your child

I am dealing with a 4 yr old
to put into perspective, her speech is minimal (15 words), or
her understanding is probably better than we know but due to no speech we dont...

whilst my daughter has come on huge amounts since being in Canada due to early intervention and assistance, all this has only impacted how she learns to deal with different situations...
