United.com definitely shows more availability than AwardTravelr.com so I think I'll stick with that.

Looks like Thai are not offering Business Class redemption on their A380 from BKK to Europe next summer and Tyrolean via Vienna is the next best option. Adds another two hours to the flight...

That's the thing with US Airways - their agents are either geographically challenged incompetents or they're very good. My experience is that the very good ones are in the minority though.

It's a very long haul from Sydney to Montreal via Bangkok and Frankfurt in one trip - must be at least 30 hours. Definitely want lie-flat...

I'll definitely do that next time as you can't rely on US Airways to either get it right or, if they don't, to notify you of a problem.

I suspect how much you are offered depends on how many miles you previously bought. Just guessing. I've bought 140,000 miles.
