I never thought it would go below $1.60 but it has, and last week I read that it may go down to $1.35 against the £

At $1.50 yes I would sell move the 'money' back to the UK, either that or remortgage and send the money back for a while. Plus I think hitting $1.50 will see a major correction in the opposite...

OK so if GBP is getting stronger against the EUR & USD why does it seem to be getting weaker against the CAD?

Or is it that the EUR & USD are getting weaker and the CAD is getting stronger in...

Nothing, I just feel the trend is down - possibly $1.65. But then again I often wrong ;)

(plus we're getting closer to the 2k mark)

It was $1.90 just 10 days ago and will get there again soon. Once the mad panic of Christmas is out the way you will see it rise. Im holding out for $2.05

I would set an order to exchange XXX at say $1.90 within the next month. That way when it reaches it, and it will, you automatically get that rate. I use custom house (xe.com) :)

Hi Chris
Im new to forex and not doing very well. Do you think its worth buying GPB/CAD at the moment or selling? I sold at 1.98 and last night margined out at 2.04 - wrong move i guess.
