Following on from my fridge comparison here with Currys and Argos, I had seen a 32" Toshiba TV at the Best Buy store this week that interested me. $180.

Did some more research and decided to buy....

That just made me look with my mum in mind. The ordering process said they'd add a card if you didn't have one.

Of course you may not want one but it seems you could have completed the process....

What happened?
Cooker, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, two stereos, iron etc...
All my stuff in the 80s and 90s came from Currys or Comet because they were cheapest.

I just bought a new (not the biggest but very good for a second) Fridge-Freezer.

A great deal at Best Buy for $379...with tax $435.

The nearest in size I could find on Currys was the equivalent...

That might depend on one's definition of decent.

I've never been concerned about designer labels. Happy enough with a pair of plain jeans or Wranglers. Typically my clothes used to come from...

I remember commenting several years ago that the tax on my 2 bed terraced home in Bristol was only slightly less than the 4-bed detached home with double plot here.
