That's pretty moronic.
You can rent very nice one bedroom apartments here for under $600 a month. Current exchange rate makes that 360 quid.

I went on a training course to Preston once. 1975.

I got a bus to Blackburn one evening for a match against Wrexham - there was no game in Preston while I was there. It was easy and cheap.

Except when it's not of course. I used to think it got "a bit sticky" in England when it was humid. But I never walked out of a store there and found my glasses steamed up outside. :ohmy:

I suppose it depends where you move from.

Since living in Canada I have learned not to always take things for granted.

One does expect some differences but if funding child care costs were not...
