I've had that too...especially funny when the "I pay your wages" punter is someone you are dealing with because they are unemployed and always have been.:rofl:

Plenty of cartons of different sizes. There are 'deposits' on them and in some provinces you only get half the deposit back. If you bother.

Wasn't it the same in the UK...advertised as "Reassuringly expensive" as I recall.

I've seen 'proper' back bacon in one of the Sobeys stores here. Maybe it's a Moncton thing; I bought some here when passing through in 1975.:eek:

I do wish people would stop stating their experiences as fact.

Ten minutes on these forums shows people have many different experiences of (seemingly) the same aspects.

I've often seen anti-CT sentiments expressed on here and wondered why. Perhaps it's another example of things not being the same everywhere.

My father in law (in Quebec) has used them for years...
