It's understandable though, for anybody that's lived in the US for a while to be suspicious of a policy for months on end for a relatively small amount of money. It just wouldn't be the norm there!...

There's plenty of choice out there for long stay travel cover. Tons of people (usually younger on gap years or retired folks wandering the world or wintering in a holiday home) do trips longer than...
