Thanks for the clarification EU. Think I'll go along to the CPAM office armed with my CdS and have a word with them in regards to eventually paying required cotisations. When I was there 8 months ago...

Thanks for the feedback.
I'd eventually be able to aquire citizenship by way of being married to a French national but so far I can't see that it would facilitate the procedure.

Having lived and worked here in the past for more than 26 years, fortunately I'll have no problem with the language test. That will be the easy part. :)
