I'm quite happy being a crap lazy cook (my ex-husband's description of me :lol: ) - besides the landlord won't replace the knackered cooker and just using a microwave limits things a little!!

I know lots of families that do, my sister's being one and they have three kids. Guess it shows how different people live, and depends on how big that one income is, too :)

Typically Australian then! My ex in Tassie lived in a fab unit, only 2 bed but split level, one wall almost totally glass with amazing views of Mt Wellington - absolutley gorgeous - but like you say...

:lol: we don't all live in mansions..... Just got my electric bill for the last quarter, $110, two bedroom place with absolutely no insulation whatsoever - and very little heating!!

You know what? Some of us don't care! We have an option that plays music, holds music, and can go anywhere. I wouldn't care if it was made by Hardly Normal to be honest. It does what I want it to do...

If I wasn't ready to slit my wrists anyway the price of beer in pubs would be driving me to it! As it is at least I shall be forced to do the slitting at home, can't afford to go out and get ratted :D
