Fab news, she is definitely PR then. He would've originally signed the Spouse Visa papers saying he would support her, but thats just part of the standard application. Like JAJ says though she should...

Thats true, never even thought of that. She should be PR anyway. Wonder if she is confused over PR vs citizenship? get her to look at her visa label and see whether it says Permanent or temporary...

Excellent!!! Get her to call a reg agent, and work on it from that point of view. If the father and the child are Aussies, there is leeway to grant PR to the non-Aussie spouse as they cannot force...

There's a lot of waffle in some of the threads but the jist of it is that if there is a child involved it can be a reason for granting PR

I'm not sure whether the kiddie would autonatically be an Aussie but I know a lot of people on Spouse visas have children born in the UK who are Aussies - so the children come over on their own...

Get advice from a registered agent - before talking to DIAC!

There are circumstances in which they can grant PR even after separation. As the father is an Aussie, is the child an Aussie citizen?...
