based on my panic yesterday Halo spot rate is 3 cents off the interbank which is 2.014 right now not sure if that is amount dependant though, we were shifting a big chunk.

Ok 2.03 was the spot rate when I phoned all excited on Monday not the forward rate we have the order at, thats 2.015 which is better but still maybe not the best so looking elsewhere as well.

Didn't get my trade last week I need 2.03 to get 2.00 clear which is where the order is set. Dealer reckoned it would get there in the next couple of weeks so fingers crossed this bump does it...

I cant provide any verification but I have read that 85% of Canadian exports go to the US although I would expect that to be changing.

Thats the dilemma put in a forward order for say 2.02 or take anything the minute it goes over 2. All our calcs have been done on 2 so if we get there or there about we are ok but...

Almost at 1.99 but will it hold or even keep going? We sold our house a while ago and hope to be in Calgary by the summer. Its pretty stressful trying to decide when to jump in:eek:

looks like a combination of US consumer confidence numbers tanking and Fed mutterings about more rate cuts. Going the right way for now. :thumbup:
