Work wise, she can do anything a full resident can do, except claim benefits of course. Never read about probation residents not being able to set up a business so I assume that would be fine too.

As far as know the applicants savings are taken into account as well as the sponsor's.

I am assuming that a non EEA spouse will need a 12 month visa to stay in Europe, how hard (or easy) are they to come by?

I am missing something here, how does a non EEA national become an EEA national in just one year? It doesn't sound right. How does this work exactly?

I understand savings over a certain amount will be taken into account, is that right? Granted, most people won't have that amount lying around, I seem to recall circa £64000 if the sponsor didn't...
