Just before we listed ours I put a post on the Cambridge private house sales, Facebook page with a few pictures.
I had people messaging me within a couple of hours, desperate to come and view before...

I guess it depends where you are, where you live and the agent you get

Had a good mate flog his himself, saved him a fair few bob and cost him a few weekends in open homes but
the saving was probably around 20k. He did the homesell thing, think it cost him a few...
