I realise there has to be a national policy, but agree that policies tailored to the south-east of England's problems doesn't work well in Cardiff, Edinburgh, Newcastle or Birmingham.

In the above situation, I'd suggest most applicants would have more disposable income having a lodger in a 2 bedroom house than running 2 seperate...

I beleve that if the UK were to withdraw from the, that EU citizens already residing in the UK would be allowed to remain, and those not would lose the right.

Yup, the UK resident sponsor.

I think it counts the savings of both, but it has to be savings that having been dipped into below a certain amount.
